Chapter History
The Alpha Zeta chapter was first founded at Ohio State on May 6, 1921. ZTA left Ohio State in the early 1990s, along with several other sororities, due a decrease in interest of Greek Life on campus. In 2015, ZTA announced that they would be returning to Ohio State in Spring 2016 following formal recruitment. We were impressed with the number of women who expressed interest in becoming apart of ZTA. On April 9, 2016, 191 women were initiated in the biggest initiation in ZTA history and the Alpha Zeta chapter was reactivated in the biggest installation in ZTA history. We are so thankful for the love and support we have received from Ohio State's Greek community so far.
Our women are so energetic and passionate about our chapter; we can't wait to see what the future holds for us!
